Apply for Open Call: 1 January 2024

We welcome artists, designers, architects, and other creative people to apply for SKOG's open calls in 2024.

The time frame and mode for the open calls:

  • Open call exhibition: 3 weeks in June 2024

  • Open call Artist in residency: 4 weeks in July 2024

Groups can also apply, and we encourage both students and professionals to apply.

We are inviting applicants to use SKOG Art Space to perform a project that will result in a weekend exhibition or a display. The person(s) who are chosen for residence will be asked to open the gallery in parts of the period for the public.

We encourage applicants to think creatively, perhaps outside their normal practice, and hope this can result in work where both the process and the following exhibition have an exploratory mindset. The project can be material-based but must be possible to carry out in simple amenities as the residency will take place in the gallery space itself.
