Welcome to an art talk with Marius Eriksen and Morten Andenæs at SKOG!

Working across photography and text, both artists explore how images shape the way we understand ourselves and the world around us.

Marius Eriksen (b. 1989) is educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. His work brings together photography, text and philosophical questions. Drawing on material from personal and other archives, he creates narratives that explore the relationship between fact, fiction and personal experience.

Morten Andenæs (b. 1979) lives and works in Oslo and received his BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. For nearly two decades, his photography and writing have explored the role of images in contemporary culture and how they influence the way we see ourselves and the world around us.

The art talk brings Eriksen and Andenæs together for a conversation about photography, text and their artistic practices.
