Skog Art Space presents Jonas Carlsen and Jói Kjartans. Carlsen’s work explores how images reflect technology and human intent, inviting us to question empathy, access, and meaning itself. In parallel, Kjartans represents Iceland’s ancient myths, where nature’s vastness still whispers with hidden powers.

Both invite us to a deeper look: The closer we look, the more complexity and mystery emerges from their images. Nature and image alike can overwhelm those who underestimate them. This exhibition challenges us to come closer to the image and of our own feelings, not for certainty, but to confront the unknown woven into sight, technology and landscape.

The exhibition you find in the old National Museum in Room 28.
