Helle Høeg

Helle Høeg Voldstad primarily utilizes clay as her medium, with a focus on abstract forms found in ordinary objects.

The intimate connection she maintains with the material turns her creative process into an almost tactile experience, where her hands touch and shape the entire object. This imbues her sculptures with a sense of humanity, bearing the imprints and traces of palms and fingerprints. In 2018, Høeg was awarded the Khio Debut of the Year prize.
