Iver Lennartson Noem

Iver Lennartson Noem (b.2000) is an artist whose practice is mainly based on drawing, painting and photography. He studied at Einer Granum Kunstfagskole and has participated in various group and Henie Onstad Kunstsenter. In his compositions, he often uses hands and feet as tangible instruments of human experience to handle fleeting concepts through an enigmatic visual logic. His work explores how the physical body connects to the spiritual and emotional inner life, frequently drawing inspiration from nature, the local landscape of Kapp, Ostre Toten and the spirit of the forest.

The physical body connects at the same time to the abstract inner life; to the spiritual, the emotional, the inexplicable and intangible, constantly changing self.

Iver was featured in an exhibition at SKOG “ Less than Tree” with Mingshu Li that took place from the 9 April to the 3 May 2026.
