Linda Morell

Linda Morell (b.1993, Halmstad, Sweden) works with sculpture and installation. Through materials such as ceramics, metal, glass and plastic, her practice examines how bodies, materials and viewers are positioned and shaped through systems of visibility, control and mediation. Morell graduated with a master’s degree in visual arts from the Faculty of Art, Music, and Design at the University of Bergen in 2019 and holds a bachelor’s degree from The Art Academy in Umeå. She has had solo exhibitions at venues such as, The County Museum of Gävleborg in Gävle, PRÁM in Prague, Platform Stockholm, BO The Association of Visual Artists in Oslo, North Norwegian Art Centre in Svolvær, as well as shown works at Trafo Kunsthall, Tschechisches Zentrum Wien, Museum of Contemporary Art in Kiruna, and C4 Projects in Copenhagen. In 2020 she was the recipient of the Debut Award from the Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts and in 2023 the Rettig Stipend for Visual Artists. During 2026 she is a participant of the interdisciplinary talent developing programme ArtEx facilitated by Talent Norway. Morell currently lives and works in Malmö, Sweden.
