Ida Siebke is a Norwegian glass artist who has been working with glass for more than fifteen years. She has developed her craft through studies and workshops in Norway and abroad, including at S12 in Bergen, Pilchuck Glass School in the USA and Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam.

Her work has been shown both in Norway and internationally, and can be found in collections including the National Museum in Oslo and KODE in Bergen.

Ida’s work often starts with something personal a feeling, an experience or something she finds difficult to put into words. In the glass studio, she gives these thoughts a physical form, creating sculptures that explore emotions and some of the more difficult or rarely talked about sides of being human.

She also makes functional glassware, inspired by nature, travelling and the people she meets. Glass has fascinated Ida since she was a child, and she continues to approach it with curiosity, always experimenting, learning and finding new ways to work with the material.

Ida Siebke is featured in an exhibition at SKOG with Marius Eriksen that takes place from the 14th of August to the 6th of september 2026.
