Martin Bodilsen Kaldahl (b. 1954, Denmark) lives and works in Copenhagen. His practice explores form, space and movement through an experimental approach to ceramics. His hand-built sculptures often twist, turn and extend through space, creating what he describes as “spatial drawings.” Through repetition, stacking and recurring forms, Kaldahl creates rhythm and movement while leaving the works open to different associations and interpretations.
