Marius Eriksen
Marius Eriksen is featured in an exhibition at SKOG with Ida Siebke that takes place from the 14th of August to the 6th of september 2026.
Marius Eriksen (b. 1989) is an Oslo-based artist educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. Photography and text are central to his practice, often coming together as two different but closely connected ways of exploring the world. His work moves between philosophical questions and personal experience, looking at how we understand ourselves and the reality around us.
Marius works with photographs and texts drawn from both personal archives and other sources, bringing them together to create new narratives. His work often explores the shifting relationship between fact, fiction and personal experience, without offering a single or fixed interpretation. He has published several self-published fanzines as well as the book Et stormkast vækker os av dvalen (Grieg Wyller Forlag, 2023), and his work has been shown at NoPlace, Blomqvist and Frakt.
