Sofia Karyofilis (b. 1978) is a Norwegian metal artist working with sculpture and installation. She shapes metal primarily through hammering, often combining copper, brass and steel with materials such as enamel, lime paint and wood.

Her work often begins with simple container-like forms and explores how materials and objects can express both physical surroundings and inner states. Inspired by architecture, Karyofilis is also interested in how individual objects relate to the spaces around them, creating installations that invite the viewer into a physical, three-dimensional experience.
