Phillipp Spillmann
Spillman (b.1977) was born and raised in Switzerland and has classical goldsmith training. He moved to Norway in 2001 and gradually began exploring alternative materials found in landfills, flea markets or discarded in nature; materials that evoke sensations and associations. Spillmann mainly works with jewelery as an art form. In recent years he has also made purely sculptural works and decorations in public buildings. Since he became a member of Norske Kunsthåndverkere in 2011, he has exhibited both nationally and internationally and his works are represented in several private and museum collections.
