Welcome to “LYS,” an exhibition that showcases the artistic potential of light. SKOG has invited 14 artists to create objects that emit light. Exhibition takes place from the 11 January to 4 February 2024.

In the Winter Exhibition at SKOG, we show six artists, each one of them with a distinct and clear expression. The exhibition stands from 14 December to 7 January. The artists are in different phases of their artistry, from student to established artist. However, they all have in common a clear composition with a thematic attraction towards human form and expression.

Last month, during my internship at SKOG gallery, I had the delightful privilege of visiting the studio of an upcoming artist whose work will soon grace the gallery's walls. This encounter provided me with a unique opportunity to converse with the artist and gain insights into his creative process, which I am eager to share with you today.

The exhibition “I See What I Saw” by Anders Hald opens with a vernissage on the 16th of November at 18:00h in SKOG in Schweigaardsgate 94 in Oslo.

19 October opens the exhibition of Jens Stegger Ledaal in SKOG. Vernissage at 18:00.

Jens Stegger Ledaals artistic practice encompasses a diversity of forms and expression, materials and different media; such as prints, sculpture, photography, film, textile and performative, collective and processual projects.

The exhibition with Eirik Falckner and Trude Westby Nordmark takes place at SKOG from 21 September to 15 October 2023. Falckner and Nordmark will transform the art space into a fictional ecosystem of organic forms, alien, but with recognizable forms from our nature. The ceramicists will install sculptures on the floor on dried seaweed. On the walls they will hang some smaller series of sculptures made by each artist.

Art Space Skog presents the exhibition "Material Minds" with Ingunn Skogholt and Adam Kajander from 17 August to 10 September. Vernissage 17 August at 18 in SKOG.
