About the exhibition in SKOG Sandberg says: «I work intuitively, rarely with a plan. Pictures are created from a state of mind, where thoughts, feelings, fragments of dreams and memories become central to the process. The subconscious also helps shape the expression in the paintings. I revolve around the deeper theme of existence, the meaning of life and death, the vulnerability of being human, the relationship between the spiritual and what we apparently understand, around grief, loneliness and loss.”
