Artist Residency: Benedicte Dahm: “The Water Tourist”

Benedicte Dahm is this year’s artist in residency at SKOG. She was selected by a jury of SKOG own curators and external cooperation partners. See opening hours of her exhibition “The Water Tourist” and dates for audiowalks below.

During the residency in July at SKOG Art Space, Benedicte has worked with a concept around "the water tourist".

This water tourist has little knowledge but a lot of commitment, it is the insects attracted to moisture, it is a hiker in search of another waterfall, it is a river conflict, a guidebook, a purification system, a method of seeing a city through the infrastructure of water, and everyone who needs water to live.

The tourist season is not over, and Benedicte invites you in to an exhibition of works she has worked on during her stay at SKOG.

There will be afternoon tea and an opening on 27 July, audio walks on 28 and 29 July down the Alnaelva from Bryn, and an open gallery until 4 August. Meeting place for audio walks is at Bryn station.

Info on opening hours:

27 July: 12-4pm opening with "afternoon tea" in SKOG Art Space, Schweigaardsgate 94, Oslo.
